Our Story
Graham Kuhn, the founder of Focus Films, had an interesting upbringing in Luxemburg, WI, a small town located 9 miles east of Green Bay. With a population of only 1140, the town didn't offer many opportunities. However, Graham's passion for music blossomed during middle school, and throughout high school, he actively participated in band, choir, musicals, and sports like football, wrestling, and baseball.
His fascination with video production began at the age of 14 when his father, who happened to be the high school wrestling coach, invited him to operate the video camera during matches. Graham eagerly accepted the opportunity and went on to create season highlight videos that were adored by everyone. From that point on, he was captivated.
After graduating, Graham aspired to pursue a singing career while continuing his wrestling journey. He found himself in Appleton, WI, at Lawrence University, where he trained as an opera singer and wrestled on the wrestling team. Graham carried his video creation skills to college, where he continued making highlight videos for the wrestling team.
After completing his studies, he relocated to Atlanta to pursue a singing career with the professional acapella group, Vocal Tonic. While performing in churches, he also took up music and video production roles. Over the years, Graham crafted remarkable videos for his church, impressing the parishioners. Their constant inquiries about the video creator led them to encourage Graham to establish his own business. And that's how the remarkable journey of Focus Films began.
