Focus Films crew filming a client interview with two cameras in an office

Video that brings in work long after film day.

Focus Films is a B2B video marketing company based in Woodstock, GA. Since 2016 we've filmed businesses around Atlanta and north Georgia. Every video we make has a job before we turn a camera on, in your sales emails or in a post every business day.

Most company videos end up on a hard drive

You've probably paid for a video before. It looked great. It went on the homepage, somebody shared it once on LinkedIn, and then nobody touched it again.

A video only brings in work when your buyers see it. So we start with the question your boss is going to ask anyway: "Did it bring in any clients?" Then we build backwards from there.

What video marketing looks like for a B2B company

Your buyers do their homework before they call. They check your website, your LinkedIn and whoever's name is on the proposal. If all they find is text on a page, you're one more vendor on the list.

Nobody ever hired a company because of its mission statement. They hire people they've heard talk.

A good video marketing service does two jobs for a B2B company. A brand film your sales team sends to every serious lead, so the first call starts warm. And short posts that keep your people in front of buyers between calls, every business day.

What we make from one film day

One day of filming at your place turns into a lot of work for your sales team.

  • A brand film. Two to three minutes of your own people telling your story, with licensed music. It's the video your team sends before the first meeting. More on brand films.
  • Reels cut from the same interviews, for LinkedIn and wherever else your buyers spend time.
  • Carousels and image posts built from the best lines people said on camera.
  • Text-on-video posts that work with the sound off.
  • Testimonial interviews. If you have a happy client who will sit down with us, we can film them the same day.

How a film day works

  1. 1
Deep Dive.About a week before film day, we sit down with no cameras. I walk through every question I'm going to ask, so nobody gets surprised.
  2. 2
No script. No teleprompter either. People sound like themselves when they're talking, and buyers can tell the difference.
  3. 3
Film day.We come to you. Our crew handles cameras and lights, and I run the interviews. It's the same conversation we already had, just with cameras.
  4. 4
Delivery.Your brand film is finished about two weeks after film day. Revisions aren't capped, and most clients are happy after zero to two rounds.

Two ways to work with us

A brand film on its own is $8,500, one time. Two to three minutes, licensed music, uncapped revisions, finished about two weeks after film day.

Or get the brand film included with the Partnership, $5,000 a month with a 3-month minimum. You get the brand film in month one, a film day every quarter and about 20 posts a month: reels, carousels, image posts and text-on-video. We shoot it, edit it, design it and post it, and it comes with a results guarantee on your LinkedIn company page.

One all-in price either way. No day rates, no itemizing by equipment.

Finished basement game room from a client brand film

Videos that got sent and got paid for

A luxury basement remodeler gave us two hours on film day. When a new inquiry came in, he answered it with his brand video. The prospect signed a $150,000 project within days.

A personal injury attorney spent $5,000 on a brand video a few years back. A new client came to her from that video, and her commission on the case was $89,000.

A roofing company posted its brand video and sold a $20,000 retail roof the next day.

Who runs the interviews

I'm Graham Kuhn. I'm at every film day and I run every interview myself. I sang professionally for about 30 years before video took over. These days my job is getting your people comfortable enough to forget the cameras are there. Anybody can hit record. The value is in the conversation.

I also wrote a book on this called Serve to Sell.

Video marketing questions

How much does a brand video cost?

Ours is $8,500, one time, for a two to three minute film with licensed music and uncapped revisions. Or it's included in month one of the Partnership at $5,000 a month. We broke down what drives the price here: How much does a brand video cost?

What's the difference between video production and video marketing?

Video production gets you a finished video. Video marketing is everything after that: where it goes, who sees it and whether it brings in work. We plan for both before film day.

How long does it take to get our brand film?

About two weeks after film day. The Deep Dive happens about a week before film day, so plan on about three weeks from the Deep Dive to a finished film.

Do we need a script?

No. We don't use scripts or teleprompters. You'll see every question in the Deep Dive, and on film day it's a conversation. Show up as yourself and I'll steer.

Can we get more than one video out of a film day?

Yes, and you should. A brand film, reels, carousels, image posts and text-on-video can all come from the same day. Here's how: One film day, a month of content

Do you only work in Atlanta?

We're in Woodstock and film all over metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

Let's make a video your team actually sends

Tell me who you sell to and what your sales team sends today. In 15 minutes we'll know whether a brand film or the Partnership fits. If it's not the right time, that's cool too.
